ERİMTAN ARCHAEOLOGY
AND ARTS MUSEUM

A museum formed by uniting three historic houses within Ankara Castle. The exterior preserves the historic character of the houses while the interior offers a contemporary museum experience. Ankara stone and exposed concrete mark the transition between old and new; the walls of the houses were reinterpreted to frame the museum and to house its technical infrastructure. Security for the permanent collection was resolved with specialists.
